One way to diagnose problems is with an event trace. An event trace "captures" all communications activity, keystrokes, commands, and menu and dialog box selections to an event file on disk. If requested by technical support, you can send this file to the Reflection support staff for diagnosis.

To create an event trace, use the trace commands from the Help menu. The following topic explains how to create an event trace:

After creating a trace, you can play it back using the Play Back Trace option. Specify the playback file and whether to pause during playback. Trace playback is also available from the Connection Setup dialog box.

This option is not available if disabled in the profile associated with this session.
