The following options are available:
Destination group box: |
|
Send output to printer | Choose Ask user to open
your browser's print dialog box for each print job; Default to automatically
send print jobs to your computer's default printer; or a named printer
to automatically send print jobs to that printer. The status, location,
and other pertinent information about the selected printer are shown
beneath the Printer list. |
Send output to file | When this option is selected, printer output is sent to a file
instead of the printer. The file name option specifies the file to which the printer output is saved. Accept the default path and file name, enter a new one, or click Browse to select an existing file. In some cases, you may want to use the Send output to file option to send a job to a printer. You can send files to a local printer by entering the printer port (for example, LPT1 )
or to a networked printer by entering the full UNC path (for example, \\Servername\Printername) .
If file exists determines what happens when the specified file name already exists. The following options are available:
|
Close printer group box: |
|
Manually | Enables the Close Printer command on the File menu. The printer remains open until you click the Close Printer command. Select this option to send several print jobs together when you click Close Printer. |
After X seconds | Closes the printer automatically after the amount of time you specify.
The value you enter here determines the number of seconds that Reflection
waits after receiving
output data before closing the printer automatically. |
Issue formfeed at end of job group box:
You can issue a form feed for host-initiated printing, print screen, or both.
- If Send output to printer is selected, these options guarantee that no partial pages are left in the spooler system.
- If Bypass text formatting on the Text formatting dialog box is selected, an ASCII
form feed is written to the end of the stream. If Bypass text formatting is
cleared and Send output to file is enabled, these options have no effect.
For host-initiated printing | Issues a formfeed at the end of the job for print output from the host. |
For print screen | Issues a formfeed at the end of the job for print screen operations. |
