Messages that appear in the Status box are color coded:
Green | Indicates that the printer is online. | |||
Yellow | Indicates that the printer is offline or busy printing. | |||
White | Indicates the printer is in the process of connecting or disconnecting. | |||
The messages that can appear in the Status box (and their respective colors) are: | ||||
Message | Meaning | Color | ||
Connecting | The printer is connecting to the host. | white | ||
Connected | The printer is connected to the host, but not ready to print yet. | white | ||
Disconnecting | The printer is disconnecting from the host. | white | ||
Canceled |
The print job has been canceled.
This also indicates
that you have sent a print job, but do not have a connection to a printer. |
yellow | ||
Disconnected | No host connection. | yellow | ||
Printing... | The printer is printing. | green | ||
Ready | The printer is ready to print. | green |
